// ~Tokyo Finale; Part Two!~ //
Mood: Sheepish?
Music: Chemical in Me --- FAKE?
Rae: Um, oops? Heh. *sweatdrop* I meant to post the next part the other day, honest!! It’s just... I started re-writing it... And it kept getting longer...and longer...and longer... And um, it’s over fifty pages long now. XD And um, I’m not finished with it yet. Because I decided to add some more scenes and yeah...
So. I believe it’s going to have to be a three-parter. Yuup.
Oh, there’s a minor video-game character cameo in this part that I threw in for my own twisted amusement. If you can figure out what it is, I’ll give you virtual pocky. And um... Virtual cookies, and naked Gackt and... Write you a drabble with any pairing you want? XD
Well. This is so very bipolar, I swear...
Anyway.
Mewhwhwhweeee. I so need to get a hold of the Drama CD for the manga Yellow!! Because um, um, um Ishikawa Hideo and Sakurai Takahiro are t3H Snatchers, yo! XD I <333333 those two seiyuu!!
*cough*
Yellow is a cool manga. It’s like the Getbackers, only gayer, prettier and smuttier. XD
Goh is so adorable and Taki and um... Kanji!!! He’s so cute too. XD
...Rambling. Sorry. Okay. Onto part two of the Tokyo Finale!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
How the hell did she get into weird situations like this, anyway? Really, it just wasn’t fair.
“Look, we don’t HAVE any money, you stupid assholes!” Rae shouted angrily, eyeing the blonde man’s large knife with trepidation.
“Fine. Then give us all your jewelry,” the blonde stated calmly, waving his knife around in an almost playful manner. Playful like a cat about to eat a mouse...
“Go fuck yourself.” Kouji growled from behind Rae, his usually calm light voice now tinted with anger.
Rae glanced back at the boy for a moment, before once again focusing her gaze on the knife. Whoa. Kouji must reaaally hang out with Malba too much, she thought with a touch of amusement, despite the dangerous situation before them. Go fuck yourself, huh? Definitely too much time with Mals...
“What did you say, you little runt?” the shorter Asian man growled. He then stepped forward, eyeing Kouji with a sneer on his lips. “I say we just kill them before somebody comes, you think?”
“Sounds fine to me, Toshi-kun,” the westerner replied airily, tossing the large bladed knife from hand to hand.
Great, just fucking great. Of course I would have the shitty luck to go to a country that has an uber low crime rate, yet somehow manage to get mugged and killed. Yeah. Go figure... She really just had lousy luck. That’s all it could be. Bad, bad, bad luck...
She tensed, taking a quick glance down the long hallway, trying to judge the distance between where she stood and the door to the main dance room. If we ran, could we make it before these guys play stab the tourists? Probably not. Too far...
Well, she supposed her only option left was to fight... Yet, two guys and a knife versus one lame fat girl and a thirteen year old boy? Not good odds...
“Gee, Kouji. You don’t have any uber powerful magick that could like blow these guys up or something, right?” she questioned, a feeble laugh escaping her lips.
“Um... I don’t think so,” the boy replied apologetically.
“Ah...”
“What the hell are you talking about?” the dark haired man questioned, eyebrow raised. What had the blonde called him? Toshi? Well, at least she knew the name of one of her would be killers...
“Nothing an idiot like you would understand.” Kouji snapped, flashing the man a dirty look.
Rae raised an eyebrow. Heh, this kid could cop a real attitude. Good for him. It’s going to get us both killed, but still....
“That’s real funny. Let’s see if you think this is funny too,” the dark haired man bit out, stepping forward, cracking his knuckles. The blonde just continued to play with his knife, a grin on his lips.
What the hell is up with Mr. Knife Dude? Crazy much? she couldn’t help but think, watching the odd man stare at his knife, that weird smirk on his lips...
Rae focused her attention back on the other man. Toshi. Well. Now or never...Ah what the hell? Why not? With that thought she quickly sprung forward, punching the man directly in the mouth with a clenched fist.
“Bitch!” he shouted, shoving her back, blood dripping from his lower lip. “You’re gonna regret that.”
The blonde cocked his head, watching the scene with what looked like amusement. “Heh. Nice punch.”
“Uh, thanks?” she replied, glancing at the blonde westerner with a touch of confusion. What the hell was up with this guy?
Her eyes refocused on the shorter man, once again approaching, angrily clenching his fists. Hm... After a moment of quick contemplation, she did what seemed the best idea at the time. She latched onto the dark haired man, jerking her knee up to connect with his groin.
“Ugh-you-you-bitch...” he squeaked, falling over, clutching his injured lower region...
Rae blinked, surprised that she had actually taken one of the men down. Cool. With that thought she blinked again and did a very cheap but effective move. She kicked him in the groin once more. And again. And one more time for good measure.
Toshi groaned, eyes rolling back, slipping into unconsciousness, all the while his blonde companion simply watching with an amused grin.
“Whoa. That was cool.” Kouji commented, a smirk on his pale lips.
“Yeah, it was. But know what’s like, even cooler?” the blonde asked, tilting his head a bit. Rae cast an uneasy glance at that smile playing on his lips... Not good...
“Huh?” the boy responded with a touch of confusion, eyeing the blonde with disdain.
“This,” the man stated calmly. With that he suddenly launched forward, knife directed at Kouji.
Oh fuck!
“Damn it, move Kouji!” Rae shouted, moving to shove the boy away from the knife’s path. Of course a moment later she realized the flaw of this plan. As the boy went crashing to the ground she turned, watching as the knife plunged directly towards her chest.
Well. This sucks. she thought, closing her eyes, waiting to feel the metal slide into her flesh...And waited...And... Uh, huh?
Rae opened her eyes to see the blonde unmoving, blade centimeters away from her. “Eh?”
“Wh—what’s..wr-ong—with—me?” he grunted, obviously attempting to move his muscular frame...To no avail. Rae raised an eyebrow, watching the man struggle to move. “WHAT—is..WRONG...with me?” he repeated, voice angry.
“Not near as much as what’s going to be wrong with you,” a cold disembodied male voice responded. With that said the blonde’s knife grew fiery red, and the scent of burning flesh quickly filled the hallway.
Rae’s eyes widened and she moved hastily away from the man, as his hand burst aflame. Dark black flames. Hm. Black flames and that bitchy voice. No mistaking THAT voice...
“Whoa.” Kouji whistled from his position on the hallway floor.
“GOD-DAMN-GAHHH!” the blonde shrieked, dropping the flaming knife.
The man was then suddenly thrust up into the air, flying across the hallway to crash head first into the wall. He slid to the floor with a small moan.
“Stupid human.” Malba stated flatly, suddenly materializing near Rae, leaning indifferently against the dark hallway wall.
“Mals!” Kouji chirped happily, pulling himself to his feet.
“Was it really necessary to burn the human’s hand off?” Kitsune questioned, appearing next to Malba, shooting him a half annoyed/half amused look.
“Kitsi!” the boy shouted, running up to his sister, pulling the icy woman into a big hug.
“God am I glad to see you two.” Rae replied with a sigh, leaning back against the wall, taking in a deep breath. After slowly exhaling, she then took another large breath of air in, attempting to calm her shaking body. Damn was that close.
Kitsune meanwhile patted her brother’s head awkwardly, obviously not quite accustomed to public displays of affection. “You... You’re not injured?” she questioned hesitantly, glancing over the boy.
“Nope, thanks to Rae-Rae.” Kouji chirped happily.
“That was really stupid. You just about got yourself killed. You’re lucky we showed up.” Malba stated flatly, eyeing the pink haired girl with an eyebrow raised.
Rae rolled her eyes, shaking her head a bit. “Well, what the hell was I supposed to do? It’s not like I have uber magicks like you. Besides I figured if I let that dude kill Kouji, Kitsune would kill me anyway so... Yeah...” she trailed off, a tired grin forming on her lips.
“That... That was brave. Rather stupid, but brave.” Kitsune replied coolly, as usual no real emotion apparent in her voice. However Rae felt a blush form on her cheeks, and her grin widened. Hee. Kitsune thinks I’m brave! Well and stupid. But, hey! Brave! she couldn’t help but to think happily.
“Whatever.” Malba stated flatly, crossing his arms apathetically.
Rae simply rolled her eyes, then let her gaze travel to the two fallen would be muggers/killers. “Uh... Did you kill that guy, Mals?” she asked hesitantly, eyeing the blonde warily.
Malba cocked his head a bit to the side, glancing at the fallen blonde. After a moment he shook his head. “Nah. He’s still alive. A little bit. Want me to finish him?” he questioned, a dark smile forming on his full lips.
“Uh... No Malba. God. Control your homicidal tendencies for a minute, neh?” Rae responded, shooting the sprite an irritated glare. The dude might be a freak, but that doesn’t mean I want him to murder the guy. Geez...
“Yeah. Homicidal freak.” Kouji chimed in happily, finally pulling away from the tight lock he had on his sister. He then smirked teasingly at the darkness elemental, moving to stand near Malba.
“Feh. Whatever.” Malba responded with a shrug.
“Where is Druuvbin?” Kitsune questioned, distractedly shoving a strand of stray white hair away from her icy eyes.
Really, Kitsune had the coolest hair, Rae couldn’t help but think for the millionth time. How cool is having three different colors? Blue, white and black. Definitely neat... Heh. Her hair is kinda glowey in the black-light too... She mentally shook herself, deciding there were probably more important things to be contemplating besides the demon’s cool hair.
“Oh, uh Druu? Dunno. The last time I saw him, he was getting plastered at the bar,” she replied with a small frown. “Why?”
“Bar?” Malba questioned, exchanging a quick look with Kitsune. The ice demon frowned a bit, and for a second Rae thought she could see... Some sort of odd expression flash through her eyes. However her look quickly returned to her normal emotionless state.
What was that about? Rae wondered. Hm...
“So, uh what about Druu?” she then questioned, watching the demon’s face for any sign of, what? Emotion? However Kitsune’s face remained blank. Nothing...
“I need to speak with him for a minute.” Kitsune responded vaguely.
“...Your hand is bleeding.” Malba suddenly commented nonchalantly, not even looking at Rae, instead focusing his dark eyes on the tiled floor.
The girl pulled her hand up to inspect, noting that indeed her hand was bleeding a bit. She hadn’t even noticed. “Heh, yeah. Must have busted a knuckle when I punched that one guy,” she commented with a smirk.
“That guy should be out for awhile.” Kouji stated, glancing at the unconscious dark haired man with a grin.
“Yeah... Man. I can’t believe no one is in this freaking hall anyway. I mean hello? Crowded club? What’s up with the whole abandonedness?” Rae questioned, glancing about the long corridor.
“Uh... Rae-Rae. I think the main bathrooms are on the other side of the building. I just figured these back ones would be less crowded so...” the teen trailed off, an apologetic grin appearing on his lips.
“Oh...” Rae stated, narrowing her eyes. Why had he picked the back bathrooms? Geez... But still, wasn’t it odd that even the ‘back’ restroom area was completely abandoned? Eh, whatever.
Malba rolled his eyes, flipping a long lock of raven-black hair away from his pale face. “Stupid.”
“I am not.” Kouji responded, poking the darkness elemental teasingly.
“Uh. Malba.” Rae stated, eyes widening as she finally noticed the lithe man’s clenched right fist. Blood covered fist. “You’re bleeding too. Uh, kind of profusely,” she stated with concern. On closer inspection, it looked kind of... Well, broken actually. And really bloody. Sorta mangled? Damn. That looks painful.
“Whoa, she’s right.” Kouji blinked, glancing at the sprite’s hand as well.
“It’s nothing.” Malba shrugged, clenching his blood covered fist even tighter.
“What, you punch another wall?” Kouji asked knowingly.
“...Shut up. Stupid,” the sprite bit out, however a small red tint momentarily colored his cheeks.
“You broke your own hand?” Rae squeaked, eyes widening even further. A sudden wave of guilt rushed over her. In all of the excitement she had forgotten about the ‘incident’ earlier... Damn. I guess that’s my fault too. Stupid karaoke... Stupid me. But uh, stupid him for punching a freakin’ wall!
“It...Seemed like a good idea at the time,” he replied defensively, dark eyes trained to the dim hallway’s floor.
Kitsune simply rolled her eyes at the sprite, before clearing her throat. “Come with me Kouji. I need you to stay with Kopaka for awhile.”
“Huh? Okay,” the boy responded pleasantly, tugging a bit on his black cap. “Cool.”
“I’ll be back in a minute with Druuvbin. You two wait here.” Kitsune ordered, casting a quick pointed stare at Malba before turning, starting down the long hallway.
“Uh... Okay?” Rae responded, wondering exactly what the look Kitsune had shot at Malba had meant.
“Whatever,” the elemental muttered darkly.
“Wait up Kitsi!” Kouji called, skipping after his sister.
The two siblings exited through the large double doors at the end of the hall, leaving Malba and Rae alone in silence.
Malba continued to keep his gaze focused on the dark floor, his body stance giving away his tense mood. Though when wasn’t the sprite tense, really?
Rae cast a few quick glances towards the sprite, and then guiltily looked away once more. She should say something, right? However at this point, she was afraid to open her big mouth. What if she just messed up even more? Meh...
“I...um...” Rae stuttered, once again chancing a look at the silent darkness elemental. “Malba... I’m... I’m sorry about earlier. Really.” The girl tensed, waiting for the moody sprite’s response.
Malba pulled his gaze away from the floor to meet Rae’s eyes. “Stupid,” he stated, once again retraining his eyes to the tiled hall floor.
Damn it... She really, really really wasn’t sure what to say next. If I say the wrong thing, I might just make this completely worse...
“I know I’m stupid. I don’t think sometimes, or well anytime really, and I do stupid things but um--” she started, but was cut off as Malba held up his uninjured hand, motioning for her to stop talking.
“I meant you’re stupid for apologizing, idiot. Why the hell are you sorry? I’m the one...” he trailed off, clenching his bloody fist even tighter.
Rae blinked, surprised to say the least. “Huh? But I... Um...” she trailed off, biting her lower lip nervously. She then noted his blood clenched fist with concern. Stop doing that Malba, you’re making it worse... she thought, watching that twitching hand...
“Just. Shut up. I said it wasn’t your fault,” he stated flatly, not bothering to look up, a few stray strands of black hair falling into his face. Hiding those dark eyes...
The girl blinked again. He sounds so... Dejected? Rae felt a pang of worry, and took a chance. She moved closer to the elemental, trying to get a better look into his eyes. “Mals? Um... Are you okay?” she questioned softly, hoping the elemental wouldn’t bite her head off...
“I’m...I’m sorry.” Malba muttered quietly, eyes still hidden by his long dark hair. “I’m sorry, okay?”
Neh?! Okay, now she was officially scared. Never in all the time she had spent with the moody elemental, NEVER once had she heard Malba utter those words. Sorry? Apologizing? Now she really was worried.
“What? Malba, you don’t have to apologize. So you snapped at me. Big deal, who doesn’t get uh, moody sometimes?” she responded, forcing her voice into a light, cheerful tone. Hell, she felt guiltier now than before! That tone in Malba’s voice... Such a bleak, melancholy sound... She hated it.
“I also burned that machine to ashes and seriously contemplated doing the same to you,” he commented darkly, blood covered hand twitching.
He really wanted to kill me? Hah...That’s nice...
“So? Who doesn’t have homicidal urges from time to time? I mean let’s face it; it’s a perfectly normal response to my singing, right?” Rae shrugged casually, waving her hand dismissively.
Stop sounding so sad Malba... You’re scaring me... You’re scaring me more now than you did back at the restaurant...
“You... Really are such an idiot.” Malba stated, however he looked up to finally meet Rae’s eyes, a small smirk on his lips.
“Yup. Definitely,” she nodded in agreement, happy to see that cocky little smile on Malba’s lips. She studied his face carefully. God, he looks so young but...So very tired. When was the last time he had slept? Now that she really looked... Heavy dark circles could be seen under his eyes.
Er, is that concealer? And eyeliner? Whoa, Kitsune was right... Now that she thought about it... Malba is totally wearing make-up... Still, it wasn’t completely hiding those dark circles... Why hadn’t she noticed before? Guilt once again washed over her. Man, I can be so stupid...
“Mals?”
“Yeah?”
“Don’t worry about it okay? Really. I mean it,” she stated firmly. So he had snapped? She didn’t care. Somehow... She sensed it wasn’t his fault anyway. I’m not sure why but...
“...Whatever.” he shrugged indifferently, yet a troubled look flashed through those dark eyes....
Rae frowned at that. Grah. Damn it...
“I MEAN it. Okay? So you have some problems. Who doesn’t? Eh, I don’t care if you have a few... Anger management issues. It’s no big deal.”
“...How about when I kill everyone, including you, because I can’t fucking control myself. See if you care then.” Malba responded flatly, his gaze once again falling to the floor.
What...The hell? What’s that supposed to mean?
Rae remained silent for a moment, contemplating his words. What’s wrong with you, Malba? she wanted to ask. She wanted to know the reason for those red eyes and that anger... However... He’s not ready to tell me... I know he’s not...
She wanted to ask but...
“Well, if it comes to that it comes to that. Whatever will be, will be, neh?” she chirped airily instead, keeping her voice light and nonchalant.
Malba looked up at the girl, raising an eyebrow. “Right. Idiot.”
“Besides, it’s not like Kitsune couldn’t kick your ass back into line anyway,” she teased, winking at the sprite.
“Feh. I could totally take that mutt.”
“Riight...”
“I could!”
“Heh..”
“Ah, bite me. Stupid human.”
She smirked at that. “So, are we okay?”
“Whatever,” he replied, a small smirk back on his lips.
“Good.” Rae responded, sighing a bit in relief.
She once again glanced down at Malba’s bloody fist, still clenched... That has got to be broken...
Without really thinking she reached over, gently taking his injured hand into her own. “Let me see that. Man, Mals, that--” she started but was cut off as Malba jerked away forcefully, so much so that she nearly lost her balance.
“Don’t TOUCH IT!” he snapped, taking a few steps back from the pink haired girl, an almost panicked look in his midnight blue eyes.
“Wha-What? What’s wrong?!” Rae exclaimed anxiously. What the hell had that been about?
“You...You’re a human and...” he trailed off; glancing first at his own hand, and then moving his gaze to the girl’s hands.
“What, afraid you’ll get human germs or something?” Rae asked, trying to understand the sprite’s sudden shift in mood.
“Idiot! Just...Don’t touch it,” he snapped, eyes flashing with...
What the fuck? Is he... Afraid?!
“Malba? Uh... What’s wrong?” Rae questioned nervously, glancing down at her own hands. Why was he looking at her hands? Her left hand still had a bit of dried blood caked on it, but the small, superficial wound had for the most part stopped bleeding. In fact, it was already beginning to form a scab. What was the deal? Surely he wasn’t afraid of human blood, right?!
The elemental continued to look at the girl’s hands for a moment, before closing his eyes, a soft sigh escaping his lips. A sigh of relief perhaps? “Sorry about that...” he answered vaguely, leaning back against the wall, resting his head against the cool surface.
“Uh... Okay?” Now she was really confused. Why hadn’t he wanted her to touch his hand? Was he going to be all pissed off at her again?
Man don’t tell me I’ve already screwed up again...
“Um...”
“Don’t worry about it. I’m just...In a weird mood.” Malba stated, opening his eyes to look down at his hand once more.
“Um... Okay... You’re not mad again, right?” she questioned hesitantly.
“No. Stupid,” he said, rolling his eyes.
“Uh...Kay.” Now she felt awkward. This day was really just... Getting too weird.
Something about the blood... Her thoughts were interrupted when she noticed that Malba had raised his hand to his lips, drinking said blood running from his injury.
“...Uh... That’s really gross.” Rae stated, slightly wigged out by the elemental’s sudden vampire impersonation.
“Tell me about it.” Malba replied with a grimace, however continued to lick the dark-red liquid.
“...If it’s gross, why are you doing it?”
“Because it won’t stop bleeding. It’s going to stain my shirt if I don’t get rid of it,” he replied with a shrug.
“...I see...” Somehow, she wasn’t completely buying that. Why was he suddenly so worried about the shirt now? He had hated it anyway. Druu had practically forced him to get it...
It was nice though. A dark blue long sleeved top, with slits along the chest, a bit of pale skin showing through... Not bad at all actually. The leather pants were nice too... Rae shook her head. Now’s so not the time to be fangirling over Malba’s cool outfit...
Why does he suddenly want to get rid of the blood, anyway? And hasn’t he ever heard of... uh, a band-aid or something? Or um, multiple band-aids... Or something...
Again there’s not much point in thinking about it. It’s not like he’s going to tell me anyway... she thought with a touch of aggravation.
“I’ll never get why Kitsune likes this stuff.” Malba commented, lip pulled back a bit with distaste.
“Oh, Kitsune sample your blood often does she?” Rae couldn’t help but ask, a mischievous smirk forming on her lips.
“WHAT? No you idiot! I meant blood in general, not MY blood!” the elemental snapped, a blush spreading across his pale cheeks.
“Sure you did.”
“SHUT up.”
“Heh.” It was kind of fun embarrassing the sprite...
“Hm, are we interrupting anything?” a silky voice broke into the conversation and the two turned, noting Druuvbin and Kitsune approaching.
Rae glanced over Druu, surprised the elemental wasn’t falling all over himself drunk or something. Hell, he had a glass of that odd green liquid still in hand, yet he showed absolutely no sign whatsoever of being intoxicated. Steady walk, sober clear eyes. How the hell does he manage to drink like the entire bar and still be sober? That’s not fair...
The psychic stopped next to Rae, leaning gracefully against the wall. “So, it appears you’ve decided to return, hm, Malba?”
“Shut up.” the darkness sprite replied, though with no real hostility in his voice.
“It appears you had some fun without me.” Druu stated, noting the two fallen men still lying unconscious in the hallway.
“Fun? Yeah. Right. And hey! Mr. Psychic Guy! Where the hell were you? Why didn’t you know Kouji and I were about to get chopped up?” Rae questioned, poking the sprite jokingly on the shoulder.
“Hm, well there was this cute guy at the bar and...”
“Oh so some cute guy is more important than me huh? So.. What did he look like? Was he pretty?” Rae chirped happily, eager to hear more about the ‘cute guy’.
“Pretty? Yes, I thought so anyway...”
Kitsune rolled her eyes at the two, crossing her arms impatiently.
“Oh, hey Kits?” Rae questioned, a mischievous look appearing on her face.
Malba looked at the girl suspiciously, obviously not liking the smirk now on her face...
“Malba’s hand is still bleeding some, ya know, if you’re in the mood for a snack,” she informed the demon, feigning an ‘innocent’ look.
“...Excuse me?” Kitsune questioned slowly, eyebrow twitching.
“Well Malba said that you love his blood so much so I just figured--”
“I DID NOT SAY THAT!” Malba practically screeched, face quickly turning red.
The ice demon said nothing, opting to simply death glare Rae instead.
“Hm... I wasn’t aware that you are so very fond of Malba’s blood, Kitsune.” Druuvbin teased, putting a lean hand over his mouth, trying to suppress his laughter. Not very successfully.
“Totally. She loves it.”
“WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP?!”
“I believe we have more important matters to discuss, if you’re through being an idiot,” Kitsune finally responded, eyebrow still twitching.
Really, the death glare should have scared Rae, however at this point; she was too tired to feel anything other than amusement. Besides, it wasn’t like Druu would let the demon kill her or anything... Probably...
After letting out a small giggle --much to Kitsune’s annoyance-- Rae cleared her throat, attempting to regain her composure. After all the stress and weirdness that had taken place within the last few hours, it had felt good to laugh a little.
“Ahem. Sorry. You’re right.” Rae nodded, giving the ice demon an apologetic look.
The icy woman rolled her eyes, letting out a small sigh. “Fine.”
Oh, yeah. Kouji...
“You know, there’s something I wanted to ask you guys. Um, about Kouji,” the girl informed the three, remembering Kouji’s odd behavior earlier, before the whole mugging incident.
“What’d he do now?” Malba muttered, once again moving his hand back to his lips, licking away more blood.
“Now, uh. Don’t kill me Kitsune. But, a little while ago, he started acting... Well, when he saw you at the bar, Druu? He said you have a funny color.
I asked him what he meant. Um, he started crying, and said he couldn’t remember or something. Then like two seconds later he was acting like the whole thing never happened,” she stated nervously, glancing at Kitsune.
Kitsune and Malba both shared a look, and then turned their gaze to Druu. Uh oh. They didn’t look very happy. Though honestly she had expected Kitsune to get pissed at her, not Druuvbin. What the hell?
“What color?” Kitsune questioned Druu forcefully, stepping a bit closer to the psychic.
“Hm? Now how should I know, Kitsune?” the psychic answered breezily, innocent smile spreading on his full lips.
“Don’t start Druuvbin,” the ice demon snapped, placing a slender --yet toned-- arm angrily on her hip.
Man, why do I always feel so out of the loop... What color?!?!
“Hm, you know, I think this drink may be spiked.” Druuvbin commented, completely ignoring Kitsune’s previous statement. He glanced at his glass of green liquid. “It tastes rather odd.” With that the psychic shrugged, tossing back the rest of the glass in one drink.
“What? If it was spiked why the hell did you drink it?!” Rae questioned incredulously, wondering about her friend’s sanity, or lack therof.
“Oh? Well, what would affect a human and what would affect me are entirely two different things,” the water elemental answered lightly, his lavender eyes twinkling with amusement.
“...Okay...” Sometimes Druu could be very odd...
Hey! He’s so dodging Kitsune’s question...And... Grah! Why is everyone being so vague and confusing?!
“Druuvbin, you’re not going to distract me from the issue. We... Will be discussing it later. However there is something we need to speak about with you now, Rae,” Kitsune stated firmly, shooting the psychic a quick pointed glare before turning, walking a few steps away.
“Hm, as you wish Kitsune,” the psychic replied breezily.
“We should leave here. It’s surprising that no one has stumbled upon this yet.” Kitsune remarked flatly, glancing back at the two unconscious muggers.
“Yes, it’s quite fortunate that no one has ventured back here, isn’t it. Amazing really.” Druu commented, his lavender eyes practically sparkling with amusement.
Rae cast a suspicious look at the water elemental. The psychic had that ’innocent’ smile on his lips again...
“There’s a back alley, through that door down there,” Malba commented indifferently, motioning with his head further down the long corridor, opposite the doors leading back into the club-room.
“Well then, let’s continue this little meeting there then?” the psychic suggested pleasantly, as always his voice light and airy.
“Uh, but what about those humans? What do we do with them?” the darkness sprite questioned, turning to glance back at the two muggers... “Wait, where the hell did they go?!” the elemental snapped, confusion in his dark eyes.
“Huh?” Rae responded, also turning to look back at the muggers. However she was met with quite a shock when she noted that... They simply weren’t there. All trace of the two men had simply... Vanished? No blood, no unconscious, hand-burnt westerners. Nothing.
“What the hell?” she exclaimed.
Kitsune also turned to gaze at the now empty hallway, though she said nothing, only raising an eyebrow.
“Hm, I suppose they’ve escaped. Imagine that,” the psychic responded, his voice tinted with that amused mischievous tone that flittered through his voice oh so often...
“Druuvbin. What did you do with the humans?” Kitsune questioned slowly, giving the sprite an irritated glare.
“Who, me? Whatever do you mean?” the psychic smiled, running a hand through his long blue hair.
“Fine. I really couldn’t care less. Moron.” Kitsune muttered, turning away once again, walking further down the dark hallway.
Rae gave the psychic another suspicious look, noting his sparkling eyes...
“You didn’t kill them or something, right?” she asked the psychic warily.
“Well, come on now. We have lots to discuss, yes?” Druu winked at Rae, taking the girl’s uninjured hand and pulling her along. “You did quite well tonight, hm?”
“Yeah...”
Suddenly, she had a sneaking suspicion that...
Hm...
Rae let the psychic pull her along, with Malba following behind. The group left the dark black-light lit hallway, exiting the building.
~*~*~*~*~*~
“Will you get out of my way?!” Sanosuke shouted, shoving yet another crazed dancer out of his path. This is ridiculous! What the hell is wrong with these idiots? the lanky teen thought in irritation.
He had spent the last hour attempting to maneuver through the crowd, in search for Rae. Or hell, at this point, anyone.
This place was supposed to be fun?
More like loud and weird.
“Move!”
Maybe he should start punching the freaks out of the way... Maybe then they’d learn to move...
“...I don’t think you are nearly as innocent as what you’d like everyone to believe...”
“You...You may be right Shishio-san. However it’s really not your concern. Just... Just leave me alone.”
He couldn’t get the conversation out of his head. It didn’t make any sense. Timid, innocent little Yuki? What could the ghost be hiding?
Where had he gone anyway?
For that matter... Where had everyone gone?
Dammit. Now what the hell am I-- Sanosuke’s thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a loud voice shouting in his ear. “Hey, cutie? Wanna dance?” a woman with those weird glowing stick things loudly questioned, swirling the magick sticks around the teen’s body.
He watched the weird green lights for a moment. What the hell kind of magick was that anyway? Not that the girl wasn’t cute, but he really had more important things to worry about. Like getting the hell out of this place...
“No thanks,” he responded, attempting to walk away from the girl.
“Aw come on dance! What’s your name? I’m Mazuhiko,” she questioned perkily, twirling about in her short neon red skirt and bright green tank top.
“Uh... Look, I don’t have time for--” he started but was cut off as the dark haired girl grabbed him, twisting him around.
“HEY!”
“This is fun, right?”
“No! It’s not!!”
“Sure it is!”
Sanosuke groaned. This was really just too ridiculous.
Wait, had he caught a flash of ice blue hair? Was that the fox or her brother? He tried to look around the dancing girl’s shoulder, however could see nothing.
Too fast. Couldn’t tell if it was the kid or the fox...
If it had been Kitsune, did that mean that jerk Malba was somewhere around too? That was another guy he really didn’t get. Talk about temperamental...
Sanosuke thought he vaguely made out another flash of ice blue in the erratic lights, however was quickly pulled around by Mazuhiko before he could quite tell... “Dammit!”
“Come on baby, this is fun,” she shouted into his ear. Like his ears weren’t throbbing enough already...
The persistent girl continued to dance around the spiky haired teen, waving those lights right in his face.
Okay. This is getting, really, REALLY annoying.
He once again tried to pull away from the dark haired girl, yet she waved her lights in his face, pushing her body against his...
“Will you knock it off?!” he finally shouted, grabbing the girl’s glowing sticks and waving them angrily at her.
“Geez, what’s your problem? Are you gay or something?”
“WHAT?!”
“Yuuup, he’s totally gay, maan,” a loud voice broke in, and Sanosuke felt two arms wrap around his neck, glomping onto him.
“WHAT?” he shouted again, turning to death glare the grey haired sprite currently glomping him. “KOPAKA!”
“Oh, so you two are...?” Mazuhiko questioned, taking her glowing sticks back from Sano, waving them around once again.
“Yuuuuup.” Kopaka responded, a big grin on his lips.
“KOPAKA!!!”
“Oh okay, you two make a cute couple. Have fun. You know, unless you wanna threesome.”
“WHA--WHAAT?!?!?”
“No thanks, man.”
“Okay, later guys.”
With that the girl danced away from the two.
“...WILL YOU GET OFF OF ME?!” Sanosuke shouted angrily, pulling violently away from the laughing elemental.
“What? You don’t think we make a cute couple?” the sprite questioned mischievously, a goofy grin appearing on his lips.
“NO!”
“Dude calm down, I was just saving you,” Kopaka laughed, bouncing a bit in time with the pounding music.
“Yeah, lighten up,” another voice broke in and Sano turned to notice Kouji standing beside him, a smirk on his face.
So, it must have been the kid he had spotted a moment ago... But hey if the kid was here, where was Rae?
“Hey, Kouji. Have you seen Rae anywhere?” he questioned the boy, attempting to ignore the urge to punch Kopaka. Stupid Kopaka... He was totally not gay! Definitely!
“Yep. We went to the bathroom and got mugged, and um Rae-Rae got stabbed,” the icy haired teen replied, pulling a bit on his black hat.
...STABBED?!
“What?! She got stabbed? Where? Is she okay?!” he shouted over the music.
Stabbed? Mugged? What the hell?
“Oh, well she almost got stabbed I mean. But Malba blew the guy up and Kitsi told me to come out here with Kopaka. She wanted to talk to Rae,” the young teen explained, all the while bouncing with the music.
“Blew him up, cooool,” Kopaka commented, spinning hyperactively around. “Heheh, mugger go boooom, flamey booom....”
Well, so much for talking with Rae. It’d have to wait until later, he supposed. Hm.
“Bunny dance! Bunny dance!” Kopaka shouted over the pounding music, hopping around in his chibi pink bunny shirt...
Ignoring the weird wind elemental, Sanosuke watched the younger boy, Kouji for a moment, thinking back to what the odd kid had said earlier...
Something about Yuki...
“...you’re not a ghost...”
“...Well you are dead, but you’re definitely not a normal ghost. Or is that supposed to be a secret?...”
What had he meant by that?
“Hey, uh Kouji? Can we talk for a minute?” Sanosuke questioned, glancing about the crowded dance-floor.
“Sure. What is it Rooster-chan?”
“...What did you call me you little brat?”
“What are we talking about maaan?” Kopaka questioned, happily dancing around.
“Who invited you?” the spiky haired teen asked through clenched teeth. He was already irritated with Kopaka, and wasn’t sure how much more of the insane elemental he could take...
“Me,” the sprite responded matter-of-factly.
“...Whatever.”
Idiot...
“Kay, let’s go sit down, neh?” the icy teen suggested, taking a hold of both Sano and Kopaka’s hands, dragging them across the dance floor, towards the crowded bar.
“They have booze there?” Sano questioned hopefully.
“Yuuup.” Kopaka nodded.
“Good. Because I really need a drink...”
“Heheh.”

Rae: Heh. Weirdness and randomness, yo. I’ll try to have the last part posted tomorrow perhaps? Or within the next few days, anyway.
Geez, Malba. That whole blood sucking thing is so unsanitary... XD
Heh.
Well, that’s all for tonight.
(Just this part here? Twenty four pages yo. XD)

~~Kitsune layout made by Rae. This could not have been possible if not for thesims2 and all of the amazing modders out there who make such wonderful things for the sims. Rae would like to sincerely thank these remarkable people for all of their work. ^_^
Lyrics from Rise, by Origa. An incredibly lovely song. ^^
This story, odd as it may be, is Rae's and Rae's alone. Though she may not own all of the characters (specifically, Sanosuke and a few other RK characters) she most certainly owns this story. Her muses are her family, steal them and she will beat you to death with a shovel.
(A vague disclaimer is no one's friend. XD)
